Tiramisu and its history
The tiramisu name comes from two words meaning " raise me " .
Italianissimo , energetic and delicious tiramisu takes coffee powder , water, brandy , English biscuit
egg yolks , sugar, mascarpone ( dairy , creamy white mass without
salt and slightly acid) and , in the end, is sprinkled with dark chocolate . a real
temptation.
This energetic dessert was widely publicized in the twentieth century in Treviso , some
say that it was created to invigorate bohemians , in the Veneto region after World War II
World . Its inventor believed that the taste and refined palate provided a sense
pleasure and vigor who had enjoyed the sweet . Others indicate its origin in Tuscany
between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries to celebrate the visit of the Grand Duke of Tuscany Cosimo III
Medici , distinguished member of the Renaissance family who ruled Florence for years .
There are newer records that Pope Benedict XVI enjoys this dessert, despite the
secrecy surrounding the private life of Pope hide their preference at the table , since
religious and lay faithful must avoid the temptation of gluttony .
One thing is certain , the Italians have always known that revenue on coffee is explosive .
