recorded in the silent film , by Charles Chaplin , trademarks or
just Carlitos , who exercised the art of mime and body expression with
the greatest dexterity.
Were several successful films , comedy In Search of Gold
( 1925 silent version , 1942 , with sound version ) , Alaska , Carlitos tries
sort of like sourdough amid the gold rush of 1898 . there he
know the fat McKay ( Mack Swaim ) , who creates a lot of confusion
after a snowstorm , and falls for a dancer ( Georgia
Gold Rush has a happy ending , and is virtually the only film
the entire career of director Charles Chaplin in which this happens . The
Movie anthology brings together some of the scenes from the movies, like the famous
dance of the rolls, or showing the adventurous Daydream Big Jim
that hallucinated by hunger , Carlitos sees metamorphosed into chicken. The most
famous , however, is the stew from boots where Carlitos , with an air of
gourmet , the character makes a delicious spaghetti of cords , the soles
a fine and tasty bird hunting , and nails her delicate bones .
The most interesting thing about this scene is that the comedy duo
actually ate the ugly boot . Dozens of boots were
made by an Italian confectioner specially commissioned to
prepare this dish. He mixed licorice syrup , sugar , gum arabic ,
thereby obtaining a firm dough .
Perfectionist , Chaplin made dozens of outlets and more than twenty
pairs of boots come out of the oven , the scene before being approved .
